I'm Brandon, and my passion is empowering professionals like you to unlock your potential and achieve your career aspirations. My journey has taken me through diverse roles, from guiding undergraduate students in scientific research to consulting with seasoned professors on enhancing their teaching, all of which have instilled in me a deep understanding of how to facilitate growth, navigate diverse needs, and create supportive environments.
While my background includes extensive experience in learning design and instructional development, the core skills I've honed - patience, active listening, powerful questioning, trust-building, and the ability to inspire change - are fundamental to effective coaching.
Throughout my career, I have conducted countless 1:1 sessions providing guidance to over 150 early-career individuals in a coaching capacity, supporting them in their professional development. Additionally, I have accumulated over 500 hours of experience providing 1:1 coaching for at least 100 professors, including many who have held professional careers outside of higher education and worked at an executive level, focusing on enhancing their effectiveness as an educator. In fact, 100% of the at-risk professors I've coached over the past few years have shown significant improvement in their teaching (as measured by official teaching evaluations), with several achieving promotions in their field.

My journey into coaching
My path to coaching has been shaped by a deep-seated passion for empowering others to grow and thrive. This passion became evident early in my career as a professor, where I discovered that my greatest fulfillment came from guiding students and colleagues toward their goals. While my background in learning design and instructional development provided a strong foundation in facilitation, I've also navigated many of the challenges my clients face. I've personally experienced the frustration of analysis paralysis, the limitations of self-doubt, the feeling of being stuck in a career rut, and the uncertainty of pivotal career transitions. These experiences have fueled my commitment to providing the kind of support I wish I'd had - a partnership focused on intentionality, confidence, and decisive action.
